Modular desk
ORIGAMI FROG - desk designed and manufactured specifically for VSB ENERGIES NOUVELLES, Nimes. The brief was to produce a series of modular workstations, initially for the interns, eventually for the those who stay on. A single 5 x 2 meter board panel produces five desktops and legs.

These examples are in pine with white oak legs. The leg sections are hand planed with a japanese plane which presses the woods oil to the surface heats it by friction and polishes it smooth. Subsequently they need no treatment. The plateau is treated with a matte finish, non tinting water based product.
