Industrial Designer - I create multiple products, product pages, PPT presentations, BOM's and installation instructions for the POS industry. I Use SolidWorks, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator CS5, HyperShot, Excel and LightRoom as my fundamental tools in creating innovative designs. I facilitate sourcing and ordering of parts and hardware. I also manage client requests and problems on a daily basis in order to achieve a strong business relationship.
Strength-N-U – Scarborough, ON (January 2010 – Present)-Freelance
Graphic/Marketing Designer - Designed and created the visual appearance for this new fitness company. Designed the logo, website, marketing brochures, installation banners and business cards. I collaborated with my client to determine his target market then presented multiple concepts until a decision was attained. I Sourced manufacturers to produce their material that is currently being used.
Sigmapac Engineered Services - Toronto, ON
(April 2009 – August 2010)-Internship
Junior Designer - Designed packaging solutions for the automotive industry. SolidWorks and Adobe Illustrator were my main tools in creating our designs. Experiences include: working with the largest automotive manufacturer’s in today’s market. Non-negotiable deadlines had to be met which motivated our progress.
Extreme Fitness – Pickering, ON (January 2006 – Present)
Personal Trainer – Part time, certified, fitness trainer. Motivate and manage client’s fitness goals for extended periods of time. Experiences include: program design as well as creating a fun motivating atmosphere to keep my clients returning as well as meeting their goals. Managed personal sales of fitness packages and nutrition.
Bayer- Designed a universal lever for the aging population design competition.
Cosmoda- Designed a health conscious lunch box with Mario Batali as the influence in concept.
Psion Teklogix- Designed a rugged bicycle courier PDA device to resist abuse while in use.
ABC group- Designed a concealable pet storage system for use in the Volkswagen Jetta.
Bayer- Designed a mass medical utility carrier for the Disaster relief design competition.
