JASON MILLER (719) 433-0546 Experience: Tech Work Solutions – Graphic Artist/Web Designer 2014-Present I am the lead designer for website creations. I work with clients to create websites that reflect their business. I am also responsible for logo creations and marketing material our clients require. I primarily use Wordpress and alter the templates as needed to enhance the user experience. Dasher Sports - Art Director 2010-2014 I am the artist at this small local screen printing shop. I am responsible for taking files and making then ready for screen printing. I am very efficient at color separations and color matching. This is job requires very fast turn around time and the ability to multitask every day. Fluid Designs - Freelance 2008-2011 This is my freelance business. I work with authors, creating book covers. Car dealerships, creating web graphics-billboards-posters and hangers. Agencies, helping with overflow work ranging from web graphics to newspaper ads. Non-profit, creating stickers and bumper stickers. I work on any and all projects I am offered. Red Energy public relations - Graphic Designer 2010-2011 I do contract work for Red Energy. My main responsibility is to produce all the print material needed for a company that Red Energy is promoting. I create everything from business cards to billboards and I also create some web graphics as well. Martian Graphix – Co-owner 2008-2009 Freelance design business creating logos, identities, posters, CD covers, brochures, direct mail pieces, and websites. I am the co-owner of this business handling all aspects of the business from client presentations to book keeping to emptying the trash. Walter Drake - Production Artist/Web Designer 2008-2009 I was a catalog designer using Photoshop and InDesign heavily every day. Walter Drake produced 2 catalogs a month with page counts ranging from 56 -100 pages. Along with regular page layouts, I was responsible for producing the order form inside each catalog. I have great working knowledge of multiple page documents and advanced color correction. I was responsible for creating logos, designing layouts and creating cover concepts for the catalogs. I was also responsible for maintaining images on the company website and creating original emails, using Photoshop/Dreamweaver, that were sent out to more than 600,000 customers bi-weekly. I worked with the PM who gathered data using CRM software to create email campaigns that pushed buyers to the Walter Drake website. Website hits increased by 30% once I took over the email campaign, with 2 emails setting records on individual items sold for Walter Drake. Sandia Advertising Agency - Production Assistant 2007-2008 I was the production artist for the senior designers. My responsibilities included logo creations, posters, cards, website creation and direct mail ads. It was also my responsibility to help create mock-ups for the senior designers pitch meetings to clients. Fountain Creek Productions - Art Caster 2004-2007 My main responsibility was the recreation of concrete wildlife figurines. This required extreme attention to detail recreating hairlines and realistic faces as well as keeping to a very strict deadline for each piece. My secondary duties included creating advertisements for the company and creating order forms that the company used in its catalog. True Manufacturing - Department Leader 1994-2004 I was responsible for leading a team in the production of industrial refrigerator tops. I used creative leadership ideas to generate a high output, versatile team. My duties included creating daily schedules for the coolers needed each day. Building specific types of tops for specific coolers. I also operated brake presses on overtime and weekends when required, punching out or bending large sheets to small brackets. L. Clayton Design Inc. - Production Assistant 1989-1994 I was responsible for creating, loading and setting up stage equipment for trade shows and special events. I assisted both the lighting and sound directors with set-up and testing of equipment. I created graphics for slides used during presentations at business meetings. I learned the ability to multi-task and work effectively under high-pressure situations and tight deadlines.
