Animalia is commonly known as the taxonomic kingdom comprising all animals, including human beings. This project was a study in distilling iconic silhouettes to their most basic form while still remaining recognizable. The construction is from a softwood called Cedar, in both a natural and dark finish. The legs are pressure-fit into the body so they are secure but easily removable by a child. They are made from a medium-density foam with a faux leather grain texture. No animals were harmed in the making of this toy set!
