I was born in 1987 at the sweet age of 0 years old (without being asked permission for it), in a city somewhere in Spain. I’ve been interested in photography since I was 15. One day, just by chance, I discovered that if you put the camera to take a long exposure picture at night (15 seconds, the maximum allowed by that camera) very still on the frame of the window, nice pictures appear. From that moment onwards I’ve never stopped playing with the camera, pushing to the limits of what it can do. Some time after that I was given a bridge camera as a present. That’s when I really started learning photography. Finally, a Canon 500D, and a few years after a Canon 5D mk III, came to my kingdom of merciless terror (as can be deduced by the reaction of the people that see me trying to photograph them).
I like nocturnal photography, to capture the beauty of the dim light surrounded by darkness in a way that the eyes fail to achieve. Studying chemistry made me love the light, increased my curiosity for its properties and made me talented enough to manipulate it to develop the picture that I draw on my mind. I also like playing with ultraviolet light, infrared light, ultra-common light and even lighters from time to time. I’m a fanatical of realistic photography, taking pictures of the world that surrounds me the way it is, with all its beauty and all its imperfections. Sharpness is usually one of my priorities (and you can’t imagine how many pictures lay in de depths of my catacombs… ehrm… I mean… hard disk, just because they weren’t sharp enough).
I hope you enjoy my work and, if you like it, make me know. Any comments or ideas are always very welcome.
