INSURANCE COMPANY. Caracas, Venezuela
2003 - 2007
Insurance company, belonging to a multinational corporation, with over 400 employees and offices in the nine biggest Venezuelan cities.

Graphic Designer / Marketing Executive
Reported directly to the Marketing Manager and the VP of Corporate Development. Designed marketing material and created campaigns for internal and external audiences.

* Created and coordinated the complete campaign for four annual conventions, a very important event for the top 100 commercial partners. The communications included an intrigue campaign, logo, poster, mascot and an informative booklet, among other design elements.
* Designed the informative kit for the company’s most important client for two years. 23000 brochures, cards and stickers were printed each year.
* Created, designed and coordinated the production of 8 numbers of two different newsletters, a 500 copies printed one for employees and a digital one for commercial partners.
* Created 5 internal campaigns for the Human Resources department, in order to improve the employees’ attitudes and to inform about values, events and new procedures.
* Maintained relationships with suppliers, advertising agencies and printers to ensure all requested to be ready as scheduled.
* Compiled and coordinated information for sections of corporate intranet and website.
* Participated in the organization of events up to 300 people, mainly employees and commercial partners.

State-owned oil corporation with over 40.000 employees and offices located across the country, North America, the Caribbean and Europe.

Graphic Designer
Reported directly to the Graphic Design Supervisor and the Graphic Arts Department Manager. Worked closely with different departments such as Public Affairs, Marketing and Human Resources, among others, in order to provided designs for the corporation’s wide range of communication projects.

* Designed flyers, pamphlets, brochures and newsletters whose circulation varied from 1000-10000 copies.
* Designed 12 numbers of corporate magazines whose average circulation was 6000 copies.
* As part of a team, designed 6 numbers of the corporate monthly newspaper, with a circulation over 12000 copies.
* Working closely to the author, produced the graphic design for a book about a Venezuelan musician’s life.
* Created illustrations, charts and infographics for corporate publications.
* Created logos, stationery, posters and backdrops for corporate national and international events.
* Illustrated 10 children’s books as part of a collection that was published and distributed to schools and libraries throughout the country.
* Produced images for the corporation’s intranet screens.
