This is a self assigned Nike project inspired by cable bridge architecture.
Product placement of my shoe design onto Kevin Durant. I tied in the cable bridge architecture theme of the shoe with strong line art and placement angle into the graphic design of the image. Bridges are physically suspended in the natural world as they "rise above" all of us. Durant's suspended body and altered typeface tie together nicely to continue the message of rising upward. The strong rising graphic lines encourage upward movement as they are read left to right. The etherial glow and iridescent colors of the lines are meant to hint at outer space.
