Sony Entertainment deferred design of the stage to IBM's Industrial Design group. On behalf of IBM Corporate and IBM's Research division, I designed the set and worked with Sony's production crew to implement.
The original concept utilized transparent imagery pulled from IBM’s Smarter Planet campaign but evolved to use an abstract “Think” graphic montage. The transparent glass was replaced with a series of 24 lcd’s to seamlessly wrap the graphics around the stage. *Note- "Think" graphics created by VSA Partners, Inc.
