M.Sc. Enginnering Projects

Individual Project:
• Design of Houseboat Focusing on Aesthetics and Ergonomics.
In this project an attempt has been made to enhance the exterior style as well as Ergonomics focusing on human beings and their interaction with the product and its facilities. Five concepts were generated from the metaphors selected and by keeping the research findings in mind. The final concept was designed to suit the customer aspirations. 3D model of the final concept was created using Alias Studio software and rendered in keyshot. After making the detail drawing of the final concept, a mock up model was made to a scale of 1:10. The aesthetic design criteria predicted through trend study and design research has been successfully converted into the conceptual design and mock-up model. The methodologies adopted for the project execution are:
