As an Art Director for Sears / Kmart Strategic Initiatives Design Team, I help envision the future of what new in-store experiences will be and how they work as an integrated retail experience. I lead two Junior Designers by assigning projects and providing direction / approvals. I handle all spectrums of design from initial concepts, design, final art to printers, and collaborating with interior layout specialists, 3D rendering, procurement, project managers, signing managers, strategists and copywriters. I try to imagine a retail experience beyond just printed signs: how a customer has the ability to interact within the environment while making the shopping experience a more complete and positive experience. I have also had the experience of working in a B2B setting beyond just retail. This has allowed me the opportunity to create dynamic store advertisements, signage and displays, while also designing direct mail, catalog and marketing collateral. Handling multiple, high-level projects simultaneously and efficiently while working under tight timelines and a heavy workload is what I do best.
