Milwaukee Art Museum, Summer 2011
Assistant Audio-Visual Technician
• Worked independently and cooperatively to facilitate the setup, deployment and utilization of AV resources for museum Event Clients and presenting Guest Speakers and Lecturers.
• Worked to continually update and optimize existing workflows and equipment resources to facilitate an upgrade to facility-wide digital distribution of high-definition video and digital audio.
• Regularly utilized audio mixers, matrix video switchers, cable RF distribution, Crestron and serial device control systems.

The Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, 2007 - 2010
Digital Media Facilities Manager for the Time Based Media Department
• Worked directly with area instructors and administration to facilitate all procedural, technical, hardware and software aspects of the TBM courses at MIAD.
• Managed and improved the Equipment Checkout Program and facility, stopping loss and ensuring the care of over $125k worth of video and audio production equipment.
• Extensively developed the school's technical facilities:
- Researched and project managed the purchase, installation and outfitting of a dual use, professional quality high-definition video studio featuring blue and green screen chroma-key corner coves and a wrap-a-round black velour curtain track.
- Refined the implementation of QuickTime Streaming Server to reliably stream high-definition 'reels' of student video and animation work to televisions around campus.
- Researched, project managed and successfully implemented previously abandoned Apple Xsan project, providing students with 24 terabytes of 4Gb/s shared storage.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

Includes, but is not limited to, the implementation of QuickTime Streaming Server (QTSS), Apple XSan, Final Cut Studio and Apple ProRes 422 high-definition digital video workflows in the service of Offline and Online non-linear digital video editing and high-definition Chroma-Key compositing. Designed and delivered an ambitious and rigorous Summer Semester syllabus to a diverse class comprised of both Graphic Design Majors and non-art-major newcomers. Class was comprised of undergraduate and graduate, design and architecture majors, and focused on the integration of the entire Adobe CS suite to create self-promotional and professional quality printed materials.

Adobe InDesign CS; Developed 10-week curriculum for class of adult professionals with no previous InDesign experience.
