James Ian Killinger

Designer/Artist

I am preoccupied with what I call the "future of antiquity." We live in an ephemeral world filled with artifacts that will someday be forgotten. Inevitably, these objects that were once cherished and praised for their promise of a better future will go the way of cellophane wrappers and cigarette ashes. Should this cycle continue? If not, what should we keep? The object... or the memory?
