Junji Kawabe was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from a Chinese mother and a Japanese father. He studied in Japan and USA, completed B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and Master in Industrial Design at North Carolina State University. He is now working as a freelancer.
