The Cycle is based on a square profile whose sides are formed convex to lay on the boundary between the circular and angular that makes the shape neither feel soft or hard in its expression. The edges are shiny to make them stand out and distinguish them from the matt convex sides. This helps the eye to understand the form and make it distinct.
This form is circulating in a growing way and could continue its course indefinitely. The two very sharp interruptions, gives the feeling of a cycle that passed around and simultaneously develops. The eye is drawn to this area thanks to the shadow play that accentuates the meeting point between the circles.
This can be a metaphor for the revelation of when a cycle or time is complete or perfected and the realization that the time is ripe for something new at the same as we are so close to our past cycles
