This Seven inch device is something between a tablet and a laptop.
In unfolded mode it can be used as a keyboard or input for gaming. Each layer of Light-guide works as a touch area in x and y direction and together they work in z led. For example you can use your finger like a joystick. The two layers also makes it able to use your fingers to hover in the first layer and click in the next one.
The design is inspired by the shape of a book with a concave shaped plastic between the frames on the outer part.
Behind the concave part you’ll find proximity sensors that senses the distance from the device up to 20 cm. This increases the input on the device without making it bigger. The convex part can also be used as a scrolling wheel when sliding back and forth with your fingers.
