Nascar Charging Station
The goal of this project was to design a charging station for outdoor use at Nascar tailgates and races. Because of the location and purpose of this display, I chose to take design clues from vintage gas pumps. The display uses a small portable Generac generator that must be displayed in a tamper-proof, vented, display case. The generator provides power to multiple outlets used for charging phones and tablets, but can also be used to supply lighting and movement to graphic branding on the display.
