Product Design Associate

Job Description

Summary:
Reporting directly to our Product Design Manager, the Product Design Associate is responsible to assist the manager by providing and producing market support materials in support of new product innovations. Our Associate will formulate concepts and render illustrations for a wide variety of projects including catalog layout, packaging, Point-of-Purchase merchandising, and product development.

Experience:
• 2+ years in Product Development/Design in consumer goods
• Creating layout design concepts for catalogs, sell sheets, packaging, and/or merchandising
• Overseeing multiple concurrent projects, establishing project scope and functional product specifications, and creating a detailed plan/schedule
• Project management from concept to delivery (managing project management milestones)
• Coordinating and collaborating interdepartmental meetings to identify project needs and design finished products

Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or management
• Unique combination of creative and analytical talents with a successful track record of problem solving
• Solid project management skills
• Flexible team player – able to manage/facilitate cross functional team
• Independent thinker
• Working knowledge of Microsoft software with emphasis on Outlook, Word Excel, Power Point with MS Project preferred
