Web Designer - CSS, HTML

Job Description

The Web Designer will create and manage web page content, design user interface, and trouble-shoot rendering and cross platform functionality issues for all HTML related front-end and marketing pages.

**We are looking for local candidates to the Santa Barbara area, this position does not offer remote option**

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage content, site updates, and design modifications for corporate and intranet sites
• Create user interface design changes and wire frame mock-ups for ongoing site enhancements
• Develop test pages for mobile compatibility
• Code, test, deploy newsletters and email campaigns
• Act as a technical liaison for the Marketing department
• Support employees in resolving web related issues concerning website operations and content
• Design, code - technical aspects to ensure a stable, well-designed, effective, up-to-date, and properly maintained web presence
• Coordinate responses in time critical situations

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or UI Design or related degree
• Experience and strong proficiency using HTML, CSS, and jQuery coding
• General knowledge of web related technologies and server applications

Preferred:
• Experience with UI design and SharePoint highly desirable
