Job Description

F# is looking for a Mid-to-Senior Designer for its expanding UK Design Department.

F# is a fast-growing ad-tech start-up which designs and develops interactive branded experiences across various platforms (Spotify, Facebook, Web, etc.). We work across various verticals, and have a growing global client base. Recent projects include Adidas (Germany), Red Bull (Australia), Philips (England), Latin Grammys (5 countries), World of Warcraft (France, Germany & US), MTV (US), Blue Moon (US) McDonald’s (US) and Bing (US).

Key Responsibilities \\
• Visual Design of (1) applications across various platforms — Spotify, Facebook, Web, etc. (2) standard and non-standard IAB media units, and (3) mock ups for global sales pitches
• Develop original designs for applications, media and pitches
• Maintain style guide and aesthetics of branded applications and media
• Recruit, manage workflow and skill development of UK Design Interns
• UK Designer will report into the UK Art Director

Qualifications \\
• Prior experience (2 - 4+ years) designing desktop, mobile, tablet and/or rich web-based applications or products
• Understanding of (1) design: principles, processes and methodology, (2) web/applications: capabilities, best practices, exporting and limitations and (3) web typography
• Understanding of responsive design principles and best practices
• Understanding of mobile design and best practices
• Solid understanding in Adobe Creative Suite 5.0 / 5.5 / 6.0
• Exceptional written, visual and verbal communication skills to convey design and design decisions effectively both to internal and external departments
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, follow-through
• Strong time-management skills, and ability to manage personal workload
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative and start-up environment
• Interest in current and new technologies, techniques and trends in design and music
• Experience working with Project Mangers, User Experience Designers and Development Teams
• B.F.A / B.A. / M.F.A / M.A. in Communication Design, Graphic Design, Information Design, Interaction Design, Interactive or Multimedia Design, or related field
