Your responsibilities
As a Senior Designer, Ambient Experience you:
*Report to the Sector Creative Director and work in a dynamic team
*Work collaboratively with other designers and researchers in creative workshops
*Design spaces and experiences within healthcare environments
*Participate in on site field research in hospitals to gain insights and knowledge
*Interpret user needs and create relevant and meaningful concepts and solutions
*Interpret 2D floor plans, understand user zoning and create innovative spatial and experiential design solutions
*Design from a variety of 2D and 3D packages to conceptualize and realize designs
*Create compelling presentations and present and consult directly to customers

Your team
You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary award winning team to develop new ideas, physical designs and experience concepts within healthcare environments. Philips provides Ambient Experience Design services to improve the patient and staff experiences for our customers. Using field research and an expertise in the healthcare domain our designers define solutions that improve spatial environments and clinical workflow. Designers work in multi-disciplinary teams consulting directly with the healthcare industry and are able to deal with issues around interior architecture, lighting and workflow within clinical environments for both challenges today and the future of healthcare for tomorrow.

We are looking for
*Bachelor or Master degree in product design, industrial design, architecture, interior design, or related design discipline
*4+ years of relevant design experience and customer facing skills
*Proficiency in both 2D and 3D design software (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, Rhino, 3D Studio Max, V-ray, AutoCAD etc.)
*Strong sketching capabilities and use of various creative media
*Strong spatial understanding and appropriate visualization skills
*Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
*You are passionate about Healthcare and the role of Design
*Experience working with partners in the construction field is a plus
