Creative Production Artist
The Creative Production Artist (CPA) is responsible for translating low-resolution concept designs into final mechanical art form, in addition to creative design such as 3D renderings, bursts, package size changes and sell sheets. The artist builds precise, complete and well-marked files that are ready for prepress. This position requires extensive technical understanding as well as sensitivity to the creative approach and process. The CPA is required to compose, retouch and re-create artwork as needed. This artist will be placed onsite in the client facility (Charlotte, NC), and will work directly with the client to fulfill their needs.
•Works closely with client’s marketing department, along with project collaboration involving the existing onsite project management team, and the existing client account team in St. Louis
•Thorough understanding of project parameters, brand standards, legal mandatories and schematics
•Remains true to deadlines, helpful in attitude and resilient to critique
•Responsive and efficient; ability to organize and manage multiple projects
•Possesses the ability to take direction as well as contribute own ideas
Education, Experience and Skills
•Bachelor’s degree in graphics production or a related field
•2-5 years experience
•Stays fully acquainted with current software and hardware upgrades
•Knowledge of layout principles, aesthetic design concepts, branding, typography and color theory
•Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign CS6
