Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Landscape Architecture
School of Architecture
Te Aro Campus, Wellington, New Zealand
The VUW landscape architecture programme is fast establishing an international reputation for research through the medium of design. The unique topography and urban conditions of Wellington and its environs provide a stimulating context to explore landscape architectural design and emerging issues in landscape architectural discourse. We seek applications from design focused applicants to contribute to this agenda in the 'coolest little capital in the world'.
Landscape Architecture is delivered alongside programs in Interior Architecture, Building Science and Architecture. The strategic vision for the next three years is to exploit synergies between these disciplines to establish the school as a leader in design led research and teaching. In order to realize this aim we seek applicants from Landscape Architecture with expertise in design studio teaching and an established research field and profile. In addition to research led design teaching at Masters level, the successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in his/her area of specialisation at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
Applications close 14 October 2013
