Disney Publishing Worldwide develops original, award-winning content (both Disney and non-Disney branded), including Disney books, magazines and comic books. Its products are printed in more than 85 languages across 103 countries, and it is considered the largest publisher of children’s books and magazines in the world. Digital designers drive interactive design across digital learning products and content types. This role will interface with producers, animators, developers and other creative teams throughout The Walt Disney Company to ensure the coherent, consistent and evolving design voice.
•Develop user-centered design solutions to meet business and consumer needs for digital learning products; represents user-experience design point of view throughout the organization and associated process.
•Create assets for multiple needs including storyboards, product execution, marketing and promotion, and new experience generation.
•Collaborate across the Learning team to ensure design alignment; establish the design vision for product creation in conjunction with TWDC Partners (Pixar, Disney Animation Studio, Live Action, Marvel, Lucas etc.).
•Work closely with the product team to influence UI and support business development in future UX requirements identification.
•Minimum 2 years experience in digital and interactive design with direct experience in children’s content creation for mobile devices preferred.
•Familiar with app flow and wire framing on multiple devices and platforms
•Ability to work with animation
•Create app prototypes
•Expertise with graphic design software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe CS, Flash, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Knowledgeable about front-end development software.
•UI/UX related experience including storyboard development.

•College degree required in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Animation, Illustration, Information Technology, Interactive Design or Computer Science.
