beautyblender is looking for a visionary junior art director to become a vital part of the creative team. This position is responsible for executing integrated creative solutions across all channels by working with the creative director. The junior art director will help define and execute the vision for the brand at all consumer touch points to create one impactful look and feel across all channels. This role requires a keen sense of aesthetic for lifestyle, beauty and cosmetics with a contemporary artistic edge. The ability to manage deadlines, while maintaining a high level of creative, in addition to strength in creating content for digital is a must. The position will be responsible for the design and production of original assets, with excellent typography skills, strong concept development, and great attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will help bring the brand to life with your vision; ideate and execute innovative 360 campaigns appropriate for all channels especially digital; manage the entire process of internal photo shoots (including retouching); provide onsite art direction for photo and video shoots; deliver a highly creative level of graphic design for all projects by established deadlines; partner closely with creative director to support and roll-out seasonal directions and packaging; understand and strategically apply the latest platform/industry/creative trends and digital best practices, always seeking the next opportunity in this space for the brand; partner with key cross-functional partners to ensure creative direction is maintained; update and maintain brand and launch guidelines; partner and work with vendors, printers, packaging partners, while maintaining brand vision and integrity; work closely with marketing team to secure all projects are delivered on-time and within budget allocations.

We are also seeking some required skills: A Bachelors’ degree and 4-6 years of work experience in a creative role; excellent written and verbal communication skills with an extremely disciplined and high attention to detail; Microsoft Office Suite; mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, as well as owning and maintaining asset library; motion graphics, video editing, and interactive video experience desirable; social media experience CSS & HTML knowledge and hand drawing & 3D conceptual design experience a plus! Must be extremely organized, have superior aesthetic and passion for visual arts and design, luxury and/or beauty experience preferred, love and understanding for fashion, beauty, lifestyle brands, trends, ideation and research is a MUST!
