Full Time Faculty - Graphic Design

Job Description

College of DuPage seeks full-time, tenure track faculty member/s to teach courses in Graphic Design such as Drawing for Design, Graphic Design, History of Design, Typography, Digital Illustration, Three-Dimensional Design, Portfolio Seminar, User Experience Design, Web/Interactive Design, and Advertising Design starting in August 2017. Additional duties include advising students, curriculum development and committee work. Teaching within the discipline may include using various modalities such as traditional, hybrid, and online.

Opportunities may exist to teach a flexible schedule that may include teaching assignments during days, evenings and weekends.

Teaching at College of DuPage is enhanced and enlivened through institutional support of faculty creatively engaging in instructional development, research to improve student learning and remaining current in their field of specialty.

Qualifications for Graphic Design:
* Bachelor of Fine Arts or a related Bachelor's degree with equivalent training/expertise in Graphic Design. Master of Fine Arts preferred.
* Three years experience teaching Graphic Design courses in higher education.
* Four years of professional Graphic Design work experience.
* Must submit a portfolio of professional graphic design work for review.
