Cisco’s Cloud Collaboration Technology Group is looking for a visionary and functional leader to drive all aspects of the human factors of our business, including Interaction design, Visual design, and user-centered design (UCD) research, for our collaboration suite of products. This role’s charter is to create delightful, seamless, and valuable collaboration experiences for millions of friends and colleagues.

Who You'll Work With

The mission to make collaboration at work (and beyond) simpler, cooler, completely wireless, and all around amazing, is led by Dr. Jens Meggers, SVP and GM, of Cisco’s Cloud Collaboration Technology Group which rolls into our broader IoT business, under visionary Rowan Trollope.

The charter is to ensure users can create, meet, message, call, whiteboard, and share, regardless of whether they are together or apart in one continuous work stream — as simple as using social media — and without one single wire or cable.

Our partnership with Apple means we can bring an even richer integration and design to our product, including a 70-inch wireless wall mounted tablet that requires not one wire or cable. Delivering a world-class user experience to millions of end users requires a world–class UX leader..

Who You Are
A seasoned executive leader who’s driven all aspects of cloud collaboration user experience software design
Passionate about user experience and the ability to work effectively within an agile development process
Have influenced and partnered with executive leadership, product leaders, hw and sw designers to create next-gen user outcomes
Proven ability to executive on a strategic vision that has enhanced the user’s experience from end to end, at scale
Are well-respected for your accomplishments in the UX communities
Have deep customer and user empathy
Are passionate about user experience and the ability to work effectively within an agile development process
Are an expert on user experience best practices, information architecture, and interaction/visual design
Have lead large teams in design of user-accepted software applications and defined UX standards inside organizations
Ability to interact effectively with executives, as well as product and development teams at all levels
Experienced coaching and mentoring others in UX design
