Job Description

Dauphin seeks an entry level (December 2016 graduate or May 2017 graduate) Interior Designer who has a passion for furniture to join the design team in Boonton, NJ.
The ideal individual should be well versed in Interior Design, but have a passion for 3D environment modeling and rendering. This is a great opportunity for an individual who wants to work in a small team with independence, and have the ability to lead projects and have their voice heard from day one.

 Design and generate photorealistic renders of both products and interior environments.
 Daily interaction with clients to collaborate on projects including conceptual design, space planning concepts, finishes, and furniture specifications.
 Coordination with vendors, manufacturers, and clients.
 Assist in planning and layouts for showrooms and trade shows throughout the year.
 Collaborate and participate in the selection of furniture, fabrics, materials, lighting, equipment, and specifications.
 Assist in managing client expectations, team communication, and consultant coordination.

 December 2016 or May 2017 Graduate
 Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design
 Past modeling experience and completed projects in Revit
 Ability to create 3D rendering of interior environments
 Basic hand sketching skills to quickly express ideas
 Understanding of materials, finishes, and spatial design
 Knowledge of furniture design, specifications, and mill work

 Revit skills are REQUIRED
 AutoCAD skills are REQUIRED
 Outstanding graphic presentation skills.
 Flexibility to focus on a variety of project types or multiple projects in various stages of development.
 Must be comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
 Knowledge of 3DS Max, Photoshop, and Illustrator is highly preferred.
