Job Summary

Working in a MAC environment, the Graphic Designer will work on both print and web-based design projects, which typically include advertisements, forms, direct mailers, brochures, display signage, email design, large format, publications, and/or web/digital materials. The individual working in this role will employ both traditional and web-based responsive design, as well as user-interface design when applicable, to complete projects. The Graphic Designer must have knowledge and experience regarding pre-press procedures, and be able to work in a fast-paced creative environment.

Able to demonstrate the ability to work independently and also work effectively within a team-based environment.
Demonstrated understanding of email blast methods, as well as print and web design.
Conceptualizes and designs print collateral with an eye for brand consistency
Qualifications/Requirements

Educational Background: BA/BS in Graphic Design or Fine Arts field

Work Experience: 2-4 years work experience in graphic design, with web design components

Special Training/Skills

Required:
Proven expertise in Macintosh desktop publishing software including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Acrobat), Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Keynote.
Solid grasp of core graphic design skills (layout, typography)
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and work effectively on a team
Strong attention to detail and graphic standards
Pre-press skills
Proficient with coding (HTML and CSS)
Demonstrated understanding of email blast methods, print, and web design

Desired:
Production management experience, a plus
Video editing (Final Cut), a plus
