Our brand and marketing studio is currently seeking a talented Graphic Designer to
add to our team of strategists, creators, producers, and experience specialists.
Create strategic and inspiring visual design to bolster our clients’ businesses and
Brand Apart’s new Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing and
designing bold and beautiful visual identities for our clients, as well as designing
signage, booklets, print pieces, and other brand collateral for new and existing
brands. Additionally, this talented individual will have strong communication design
skills, providing rock-solid design solutions for presentations, proposals, document
layouts, information design, etc.
Responsibilities will include:
_ Develop detailed creative briefs – in collaboration with our strategy team and
the client’s team – to ensure solid understanding of client’s goals and
_ Design communications for clients, such as logos, digital banners and
graphics, print collateral, environmental graphics, etc.
_ Design visual identity systems for a diverse set of brands
_ Work closely with project managers to ensure deadlines are met and all
deliverables are in line with client goals & expectations
_ Work with outside partners and vendors, e.g. printers, photographers,
illustrators, and other creative partners to communicate client needs and get
the work done
_ Present design recommendations to the clients, explaining the design process
and why the solution works
_ Adhere to all brand standards – whether applying the client’s or Brand Apart’s
_ Outstanding multi-disciplinary design talent with attention to detail
_ Diverse portfolio of previous client work, showcasing your strategic and
creative approach to design
_ Clear understanding of visual systems, robust typographic skills and an
enthusiasm for creating visual narratives
_ Comfortable working across a variety of media, including packaging, print,
digital, social, environments, etc.
_ Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, working well under pressure
_ Ability to effectively manage timelines and meet all deadlines
_ Ability to collaborate with a diverse team of creatives and strategists
_ Excellent communication skills
_ Expert in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
_ A strong, independent work ethic, takes direction well with minimal
_ 3-5 years experience in brand and/or communication design
_ B.F.A. or equivalent in experience or skill set
