WHO WE’RE SNIFFIN’ FOR:
Is your love of hand drawn type rivaled only by your ruv for pups? We need you! We’re sniffing around for a Sr Graphic Designer in our New York City office. BARK is a fast-growing business for people who absolutely love dogs. The Senior Graphic Designer will focus on our retail business and be directly responsible for translating and evolving the BARK brand identity through appropriate design executions for packaging and point of sale displays, as well as leading and mentoring a team of designers.

DOODIES:
-Conceptualize and design solutions that meet or exceed strategic objectives
-Scope of work includes: branding for new BARK product lines, toy backers, hangtags, treat bags and other packaging, point of sale retail displays and endcaps.
-Coordinate with art director and product managers to affirm creative objectives, discuss effective creative direction, and ensure brand consistency and high standards of creative execution for the development of brand materials.  
-Work cross-functionally with retail marketers and product design team to meet retail goals.
-Push brand identity forward and maintain design standards.
-Providing quality assurance on creative deliverables

PAWFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
-6+ years design experience and experience mentoring junior designers
-Must have retail/packaging experience, including in-store displays
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fluid environment, handling a variety of assignments and technologies, and needs to be as fluent in functional design as they are in visual storytelling.
-Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Solidworks and Keyshot a bonus.
-Imaginative and fast thinking with the ability to create engaging designs that communicate, inform, and persuade.
-Able and willing to work in a collaborative environment and adapt to quickly changing priorities.
-Keen understanding of typography, color, graphics, and layout.
-Head over heels in ruv with pups!
