You are a talented individual as a full-time middle-weight designer focused on working with the Brand team to design clean, considered and beautiful graphics across all Marketing touch-points — from online to print. The position may be based in one of our fabulous locations: San Francisco, London, or Minneapolis, with the designer reporting to the Creative Director based in San Francisco.

What you’ll be doing:
Responsible for the creation, production, and maintenance of internal and customer-facing marketing material to support Anaplan’s Marketing and Sales objectives. The ideal candidate will combine excellent graphic design and layout skills with the ability to understand and help shape interactions between facilitator and learner.
Technologies you’ll work with:
Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
Expertise with Powerpoint
Expertise working in an Apple environment
Experience with HTML / HTML editors HTML5, CSS, Wordpress
Experience with video editing and animation software such as Premiere and After Effects a plus
The Ideal Candidate:
Is a confident graphic designer, problem solver, self starter, and excellent communicator with a passion for creating clean and considered design and the ability to achieve it. The candidate must possess a blend of instructional and visual design skills. From brainstorming through design, production, and implementation, the designer will create datasheets, PDFs, icons, info-graphics, Powerpoints, Banner images, Event and other marketing material. We are seeking someone with a passion for creating designs that are simple, elegant and useful as well as beautiful, approachable, engaging and relevant. Must also possess a relentless attention to detail and an eye for aesthetic taste and quality.
BA or BFA in Graphic Design
3 – 5 years design experience in a "name-branded" agency and/or in-house corporate graphic design/ web design/presentation design environment.
Experience working with 3rd party vendors and agencies.
Demonstrated mastery of graphic design, illustration, information design, and interaction design
Demonstrated mastery in the formal elements of design, including typography, layout, balance, proportion, rhythm, emphasis and unity
An ability to quickly grasp and distill highly complex concepts into illustrations that can be understood by others at a glance
Experience working in a deadline-driven environment and meeting those deadlines
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to present work to groups
Conceptual, problem-solver, and big picture thinking
Independent producer and excellent collaborator
Enthusiasm for an iterative design process
Exhibits proactive, solution-based thinking and execution
Maintains professional demeanor under pressure and in situations of ambiguity
