Senior Soft Goods Designer

We are hiring a Senior Soft Goods Designer, a highly creative, technically savvy, and brand sensitive designer working to create innovative and beautiful soft goods products that over deliver on customer experience and brand promise.
What You'll Be Doing:
In this role, you'll spearhead sketches, renderings and comprehensive product specifications relative to soft goods attributes for product projects. Collaborating with the project design team, you will work towards the common goal of delivering an innovative, thoughtful product. This detail oriented tactical designer is always ahead of the curve, staying current on trends and industry standards.
What's Required for Consideration:
• 4-year degree in Industrial Design, Fashion Design or Soft Goods Design.
• 7+ years of proven commercial success designing technical soft goods products.
• Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Business Suite.
• Fluent in Soft Goods manufacturing processes including material welding, lamination, cut & sew, die cutting, patterning, thermoforming, and technical material behavior.
• Proficient at Tech Pack development.
• Must have 5 + years' experience development experience with overseas manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to articulate design direction in an effective and persuasive manner to a variety of different audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to create compelling story boards, trend research, and color reports to convey point of view.
• Experience co-developing products with off shore factories.
