Position Title: Designer

Reports To: Director of Creative

Essential Position Responsibilities:

This is a “hands-on” position that requires solid design skills and expertise in adobe suite for designers. Under the guidance of the creative director, the designer will be responsible for developing creative solutions from concept to final output in print and digital. The designer will be required to design in-store signage, web, email and social media assets using Photoshop, In-Design and Illustrator. The ideal candidate is passionate about design and photography. This position reports to the Creative Director.

DESIGN PROJECTS:
1. Large format print signage.
2. Web Design, Email, Mobile, Banners, Print media, Photo Art Direction and Retouching.
3. Creating Wire Frames, Mock ups, uploading and content management.
4. Social Media assets – Ability to create motion graphics videos using mobile apps using After Effects.
5. Photoshop renderings of store interiors are a huge plus!
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop new creative ideas for print and web that are relevant to the brand.
• Design a high volume of brand-relevant web, print and email graphics with a quick turn-around including but not limited to: Homepage and landing page images, email blasts, affiliate banners, mobile layouts, event flyers, brand videos, social media graphics and in-store signage
• Assist with the upload, delivery and basic coding of web graphics and email blasts.
• Retouch images.
• Present tear sheets and initial mock ups for approval.
• Complete revisions based on multiple feedback. Multi-task multiple projects at once.
• Turn over creatively brand-right projects in extremely tight deadlines.
• Communicate often via email to obtain up-to-date information.
• Be pro-active within a team environment and help to problem solve.
• Maintain organization, professionalism and patience under pressure.


Job Requirements:

• Interest in sneakers and understanding of its target audience.
• Expert level in Photoshop, Bridge, Illustrator, In design, PowerPoint, Dreamweaver, HTML.
• Experience in After Effects and Premiere, Excel, E-commerce web design.
• Photoshoot art direction experience is a plus.
• Proven experience in multiple phases of the design process, including ideation, design development, and execution.
• Must be able to work from a PC. Online portfolio required for consideration.
