This leadership role operates at the center of the HP print experience focusing on delivering an amazing simple, easy use experience HP cloud products. You will be charged with sculpting HP's experiential vision, greeting our customer into the HP experience, and driving multiple strategic initiatives.

In this role, you will lead a team of talented designers to develop and deliver the strategy, and execution of the digital experience across different platforms for HP printing products and solutions. You will cover multiple products and customer segments, across consumer, small, and medium business environments. You and your team will be responsible for researching, creating and developing strategy and concepts that shape the customer journey for the mutual benefit of both customers and the business. To be successful in this role, you will need to develop keen customer insights, be able to envision a great experience, develop a compelling visual and narrative representation of your designs, influence partners and peers, and execute in a complex development environment across software and hardware teams.

You will have 3 major areas of accountability: (1) Delivering a design strategy and define the road map of the cloud and connectivity experience across multiple business and segments, (2) Driving alignment and integration with HP business teams, (3) Executing and implementing plans with development teams.

• Drive overall design direction and strategy for HPs cloud and connectivity experience
• Ensure that our development teams have clear and compelling plans for future experiences that will delight our customers and drive the business
• Go-deep on our customers, and their journey, to create strategic plans that will be utilized by leaders and development teams across the company
• Manage a team creative designers across visual, interaction, experience, and usability fields
• Illustrate the landscape of customer experiences end-to-end within consumer and business segments
• Drive a compelling differentiation strategy across HPs printing portfolio, using experiences as means to build line-logic across our product offerings
• Deliver compelling and crisp strategic views that can be understood and used by senior levels, and also detailed plans that can be comprehensively utilized by individual development teams
• Drive implementation and resolution within a complex environment, on a global scale
• Develop clear goals and metrics to evaluate experience success
• Drive alignment and collaboration within cross-functional team of designers, developers and marketers

• 6-10+ Years of experience working in the tech industry in fields of design and 3+ years experience managing teams in complex environments
• Bachelor’s degree in design, Master’s preferred
• Understanding of design development process and tools
• Ideal candidates have a background in software application design and development
• Know what great looks like, and be able to show it
• Able to map-our customer journeys into experience steps, and reflect roadmaps for each step that will drive our portfolio plans
• Intimate with HW and SW development lifecycle planning
• Able to create compelling digital and verbal presentations of your work, excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent at creating compelling visual representations of your work
• Proven experience understanding customer segments, journeys and personals
• Able to work in a complex environment across multiple business, products, and customer segments
• Comfortable in the spotlight, and adept and managing senior leaders
• Able to drive collaboration and influence across senior and individual contributor levels
• Hungry for a challenge, self-starting, high-energy, resilient to adversity and ambiguity
