Job Description

JAKKS Pacific, Inc., a leading designer and marketer of toys and consumer products, with a wide range of products that feature some of the most popular brands and children's toy licenses in the world, currently seeks an experienced, energetic, self-starter for the role of Sr. Manager of Design for the Seasonal Division. The job will focus on our licensed Play Structures (Ball Pits and Play Tents) and Kids Furniture businesses.

Position Duties

-Oversee the development of multiple products at the same time.
-Participate in product & line strategy development.
-Align and Develop concepts for product lines across multiple brands that meet marketing’s strategic and costing goals.
-Create, Manage, and develop relationships with Licensors throughout the product development and approvals process.
-Work cross functionally within the organization (ie. Costing, packaging, marketing, etc..) to ensure schedules, costing, and all milestones are met.
-Understanding and working closely with the HK Engineering team on all aspects of manufacturing through to finished goods.
-Manage, coach and professionally develop growth of a team members & maintain positive work environment.
-Assess current and future trends, technologies, fashions, & relevant data as it relates to product development & play patterns.
-Oversee budgets, schedules, and performance standards, and provides oversight for implementation.
-Define and accomplish the group’s overall objectives, and management of resources
-Oversee the development of core brands within our category, Furniture, Ride-ons,ball pits.
-Oversee the development and design of new Instruction sheets for new items.
-Manage the in-house and freelance designers.
