Instructor for Art and Design
The Art Department at Pacific University invites applications for a contract instructor for the 2018-19 academic year. The department is searching for a collaborative colleague to teach ceramics or small metals, design foundations, and 3D digital technology. The successful candidate will be oriented towards design as a professional discipline, and able to integrate sustainability concepts with studio practice. Experience with installing gallery exhibits is highly desirable. Teaching load is 20-24 credits. Required: MFA or related terminal degree completed by August 2018, and demonstrated experience in teaching. U.S. work permit also required. Salary and benefits competitive.
