Job Description

Opportunity to be a pivotal member of New York-based branding and design studio The MP Shift. The position is a full-time internship and responsibilities include developing visual identities, website design, and some packaging design. The duration of the internship is a full-time 3 months and you will be compensated $500/mo. If all goes well, we'll bring you on as a full-time staff member on salary.

Start date: Immediate
Time commitment: Full time, 40hr/week

* Monthly lunch & learn off-site trips to museums and maker studios
* Develop brand identities: concept to production
* Design logo marks, type lockups and branding collateral
* Collect images and prepare mood boards
* Create weekly Instagram themes and posts
* Design client presentation materials
* Advanced layout, color and typography knowledge & experience
* Fluency in Adobe Illustrator, In-Design, and Photoshop
* Experience in logo creation
* Eager to learn
* Highly organized and great time management
