We are looking for an UX Designer/Architect to help us map out and document digital products and services based on the needs, wants, and desires of people looking to get healthier, perform at their best, and achieve more in life.
We’re looking for an empathetic UX generalist at heart who lives to simplify complexity. Someone who constantly seeks ways to improve things, gets up in the morning to make stuff, and stays ahead of the curve when it comes to identifying UX best practices.
If you are a natural information synthesizer, strategic thinker, and communicator… If your focus is UX, but you have a calling for other areas of product development… If you are passionate about resolving user pain points through great design… We want to hear from you!
*Own ongoing documentation of annotated wireframes, lo/hi-fi prototypes, ecosystem diagrams, and any other deliverables that help communicate the intended experience.
*Immerse yourself in and understand existing services and products before attempting to improve them.
*Collaborate closely with product managers, creatives, and developers to ensure the best possible user experience.
*Work hand-in-hand with developers to clearly document every technical detail of the experience, ensuring that everything is built to specifications.
*Be the single source of truth when it comes to documentation. When developers have questions about the end user experience, you’re the one who has the answers.
*Work with UX researchers to develop and execute test plans to gauge success of the prototypes you create.
*Remain actively involved in the development, launch, and learning phases to:
*Ensure the desired experience is built and delivered as intended.
*Seek to understand what worked and what didn’t work.
*Help identify additional opportunities for improvement.
*You have a minimum of 2 years of practical, hands-on IA experience.
*You graduated with a BA/BS degree in Human Factors, HCI/Computer Science, or a related field that has helped you transition into a UX career.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
Human-centric problem-solving skills:
*You are able to think about experiences holistically, while still being able to jump into the weeds on the finer details.
*You know that making complex digital products and services isn’t just about designing the front-end experience. It also requires thinking about what’s happening behind the scenes.
*You are a master at simplifying complex ideas.
*You always advocate for the end-user.
*You are proficient in UX tools such as Axure, InVision, etc.
*You can use design tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch, etc.
*You have an impressive portfolio of IA work across mobile, tablet and desktop. Understanding how you’ve worked on past projects will be a critical part of the initial vetting process, so we’re asking all candidates to share any relevant artifacts (e.g., annotated wireframes, lo-fi/hi-fi prototypes, functional/tech specs, etc.) to give us a better sense of your skills.
*You are an extremely detail-oriented, organized multi-tasker and you consider yourself something of a digital librarian.
*You have strong verbal and written communication skills.
*You listen before you speak.
*You are self-driven and have an entrepreneurial spirit.
*You love collaborating and sharing ideas. You’re comfortable using your skills and mindset to complement the creativity of other disciplines.
*You’re enthusiastic, curious, and full of ideas. You’re constantly fascinated by what people really need, and how we can create the right experience for them.
*You are able to adjust on the fly without getting tripped up.
*You are passionate about helping others achieve their goals.
