The FCSS (Federation des Centres de Service Social) is an organization federating 26 Private Social Services and 51 local offices. As a Social Federation it is a lobby group and a patronal Federation, offering improvement formation for the Social workers, proposing colloquium and "study days" about Social and European matters.
As such, the Federation as also to inform the Belgian Administration about her activities.
My job, as DTP Manager is linked to the Communication part of the FCSS. My task are :
Responsible for the creation and design of all the documents (Internal & external documents) - Folder, Booklets, Poster, Activity Report, Political Notes,... (Layout, Page setting,...)
Since my arrival I made a global upgrade of all the publications to improve lisibility and visibility.
Contact with the printers.
Management of the website (actually working on a draft for a new website : ergonomy, structure, interactivity, etc)
Yet, with time my work took some evolution with an added function : Management of the Company's computer network. Due to that function I'm responsible for all the computer equipment of the Federation (buying and maintenance).

Jacques Mercier (Author & Media Animator) (11/2008 - 07/2009)

Since November 2008, the novel "Année 13" (from the Belgian Author & Media Animator - Jacques Mercier) is being adapted into a comics format.
I work on all the graphics research : Urban Design, Art Concept, Character Design and Creation of the comics itself.

Beside my work as Desktop Publishing Manager, I also worked as a free-lance Illustrator for Luc Pire Editions. This Editing Company publish, each year, a great number of Book collections. (http://www.lucpire.com/)
One of those collection is a Scientific Vulgarisation Series called "Tout s'explique" related to a Television show of the same name on RTL-TVI Channel (http://www.rtltvi.be/).
I was responsible for all the illustration with a humorous twist inside the book titled : "L'Espace" about everything related to Space.

Association Rêves (09/2006 - 06/2008)

"Association Rêves" is a French association (http://www.reves.fr/) with a local office in Belgium. The main goal of this Association is to realize the dreams of sick children (Cancer, Leucemia, etc).
As an author and writer of a children story, I contacted them to propose the possibility to put the story into a comics format. Yet, they propose a better idea - to create a show inspired by the story and played by school children.
As benevolent, I worked on the writings structure of the lay, and create the poster and the illustration announcing the play in 2007. The result of this project was five dreams realized.
The project to creat a comics based on my story as not been abandoned.
The next year, 2008 I create the poster and the Illustration for another show.

This non-profit association had the development of diverses artistice creations as a goal (Script, illustration, novel).
As Founder & Administrator of the association I had to look at all the administrative management.
As a Graphic Designer and Author I develop ideas who give birth to diverses comics synopsis, and a children story in 7 volumes "Rendez-Vous with Zephyr" - the writing of the first volume as been finished and served as a base for a play. (see above Association Rêves).
