Lowrider motorcycle concept

Near to completion. This is a bike id love to build if i had the time and money.

Simulating a photo shoot. Borrowed the Daftpunk helmet design but modeled it myself. Think it really suits the theme

Very cool, sorry I recently got into motorcycle design myself. I needed a project that I could step away from my normal routine, and dived head first into a 1981 xs650 chop. It is currently about 98% completed. I ran into a few of the problems I was mentioning during the build. Overall I love the design though. Very clean lines. I saw you had several other frame designs in your portfolio, do you have any images of actual bikes you have done? I would love to see what you have come up with if you have.

Hi Daniel thanks for the comments. of course i accept constructive criticism...nothing wrong with it. I went for forward controls instead of rear due to the fact it was orientated around a show bike. This lends its self to a more aggressive riding position plus i have rode bikes with similar ergonomics and they arent so bad for my young self, ha. As i get older the handlebars with rise and the controls will slowly move backwards. As for the motor mounts, you are right, at this stage i never introduced them, however i did do further development on the frame and created mounts that would be formed out of solid stock. I could run stress and fatigue analysis on the whole lot to make it feasible but that was never my intention. Thanks again for the comments though.

From an industrial design perspective, if you wouldn't mine a little constructive criticism, give the bike rear set controls, this will allow the functionality of the ergonomics more credibility. As for the frame think about the motor mounts.
