I was part of a small program titled National Call to Service which included two years active duty experience followed by two years reserve service. During my active duty service I graduated at the top of my class from my technical training school and was excepted into an accelerated advancement program. From there I was stationed on the CVN-70 USS CARL VINSON stationed in Newport News Virginia undergoing RCOH.
