About
Hello, my name is Jom Sirimongkolkasem. Currently, I am in a junior year Industrial Design student at California College of the Arts. I am interested in new technologies and electronics, especially small gadgets like phones and computers. I think that design can change our lives in many ways by communicating itself though forms and functions. Other than being beautiful aesthetically, the product should also express its function properly towards its user. Therefore, I am motivated and willing to work hard to design innovative products that not only solve the problem but, also considering a marketing research, environment and sustainability as well.

Design Experience
Krung Thai Company, Thailand 8/07-9/07
Worked in the welding shop and had the opportunity to design a shoe rack made with metal. Also learned to weld the fastening parts for machine that are used in the food industry.
Other Experience
Community Service in Bhutan 7/11-8/11
Taught Monks English language and also taught children the basic drawing skills. Used presentation skills while learning about their culture.
Store Manager in Los Olivos, CA 10/09-4/10
Responsible for managing the store, arranging and checking out the mailing and packages for boarding students. Primary duty was to ensure that every customer was fully satisfied with purchasing experience. Marketing and public relation strategies were fully executed in order to elevate customer service to the highest level.
