triptych 1 - During my semester abroad in Florence, Italy, I took a sketchbook class that introduced me to the city by drawing its statues, paintings, and buildings. The class was a great way to learn the history of this art-rich city and was an inspiring place to create art. The following works show an exploration in differing media, subject matter, and drawing techniques.

urbanscape - This project paired my love of line drawings with my fascination of urban street scenes. I wanted to represent a wide expanse of an urban environment two-dimensionally, but also to allow for the street scene to be manipulated, creating a three-dimensional space.
