Thanks for your kind words Alberto. I've been a huge fan of your work ever since I first saw your work in IVT a few years ago. As for this machine, its ridiculous and probably has no reason to ever be built but its still my favorite machine of all time.

Thanks guys! Yes Alp, I pretty much export out by groups of colors and materials that I think I want to use. Doesn't always work out that well so sometimes a lot of re-exporting.... I also export out smaller parts and round parts separately so they come in at a higher resolution and not distorted. Basically as always, brute force and ignorance always wins the day!!!

Another killer. Very nice Jon. How long do you spend getting the model to this stage on Pro E ? then do you export part by part grouping same materials (which means you already made up your mind )?

Thanks guys. Liam, I was originally thinking it could be used for filling in strip mines and large highway projects. Unlike most large mining equipment, it can quickly be broken down for transport.

Actually the huge influence of this one was the old school CAT DD9H that came out in the early 70’s. Its probably way overkill but when I saw a picture of the DD9H, it had to be done…
