As the Year 3 history lecturer at Leicester School of Architecture,
Joseph Huang has stood out as a key contributor in my classes. He
displayed an exceptional breadth and depth of knowledge of British
Classical architecture. He presented articulate and intelligent arguments
from a variety of perspectives, showing an understanding of the historical,
political and social context of architectural movements and styles. His
Year Three dissertation on ‘London Squares’ was of a substantial length
and a high standard. It demonstrated a well rounded grasp of the social
and economic, as well as aesthetic concerns of Georgian architecture, and
conveyed his passion for classical architecture and its enduring
legacy and relevance to today’s architecture.

I would not hesitate to recommend Joseph for employment in
architectural practice, whether in technical drawing, presentation drawing,
or in presenting to clients.
