As a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, with a B.F.A in Industrial Design, I am no stranger to hard work, sleepless nights, and an incomparable work ethic. During my time at SCAD I developed an infatuation for design. I realized that no matter where you look, design is all around us. As an Industrial Designer I also realized that we have the incredible ability to influence the world. Designers have the ability to improve the lives of anyone who picks up their product. This fact was something that greatly interested me as I realized very shortly in my college career that there was no other career path I would find more suitable.
Throughout my college years I developed an interest in just about every facet of design there is. I took pride in becoming knowledgeable on skills other than those being taught by my professors. So, as I continue upon my quest to becoming one of the best young designers in the world, I intend to keep growing personally and professionally. My specific interests are in Footwear Design, Custom Sneaker Design, Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Canvas Painting, Sculptures and anything that involves using my creativity!
I have been custom painting sneakers and apparel for over five years and designing footwear for approximately one. Although, I still have much to learn in terms of being a Footwear Designer, I believe that my passion for designing and having been professionally trained by the legendary D’wayne Edwards at Pensole Footwear Academy in Portland, set me apart from the average novice.
As I now embark on my career, becoming a Footwear Designer at Power Force Apparel, saying that “the sky is the limit” would be short changing myself!
Inspiration. Dedication. Motivation.
