Reliquary
Reliquary - The “White Bird†assignment is a rite of passage for the MassArt Industrial Design student. Shrouded in mystery, each designer must interpret John Berger’s essay about beauty in their own aesthetic. After a trip home for Thanksgiving, I pushed hundreds of models and sketches off my desk and created “Reliquary.†It reflects my design approach in all senses; it’s useful, meaningful, personal and adaptable. It means something different to each person who interacts with it.
