SUMMARY:
I am an award-winning creative with over 12 years of experience in or with some of the best shops around the region, and working on some of the biggest brands there are.

A true "Jack of all Trades" creative, I love to be involved in every step of the process; from sketching out ideas, planning and directing photoshoots, asking programmers "please help me make this work!", to building the tightest layouts around. Hell, I may even write that great headline you were looking for.

My career has taken me to all corners of the continent (plus many days in the hot center), and with a little luck, will help me find my "Holy Grail" - a major motorcycle account. Let's ride.

Worked constantly under the gun to produce new concepts each month for Comcast regional clients around the country. If there was ever any free time, we came up with some great ideas to push their advertising outside of direct mail (you know, things like outdoor, TV, and some oh so clever guerrilla pieces), and maybe even work on the company's fledgling website and online promotions.


ART DIRECTOR at CLEAN DESIGN, RTP NC
10/01 – 03/07
Created and developed concepts for print and interactive projects. Managed projects from start to finish, directed photo shoots, prepared finished layouts, and built the tightest mechanicals this side of the Mason-Dixon line. Worked with diverse clients, including John Deere C&CE and Construction & Forestry groups, Glaxo Smith Kline, Sony Ericcson, and Progress Energy.


ART DIRECTOR (contract) at JOHN DEERE C&CE ADVERTISING GROUP, RALEIGH NC
3/01 – 10/01
Concepted and developed ideas with creative director and copywriter team for commercial and consumer equipment. Directed photo shoots for new and existing products. Designed everything from packaging to equipment trade dress.


STUDIO ARTIST at MCKINNEY & SILVER ADVERTISING, RALEIGH NC
9/99 – 3/01
Worked with art directors to prepare concepts and layouts for many clients, which included Audi North America, Disaronno (Bacardi), marchFIRST, XO Communications, Krystal Burger, and Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream. Deciphered art directors’ big ideas and made them a reality with my pencil and software know-how.

11/97 – 9/99
Designed ads, brochures, signs, and other printed media, web-site design and development, job trafficking, performed Mac and large format printer maintenance. Main clients were Gregory Poole Co., Carolina Crane, and Southern Industrial Constructors.
