Torii
Torii is a desk made of 25mm thick wood, and a self-authored 18-gauge aluminum piece. It was designed to be an easy-to-manufacture, pack, distribute, and assemble desk, without losing sight of the minimalist, functional, and above all fundamental essence that I wanted to represent through this piece of furniture. It stems from the idea of creating a piece that delves into the most essential objects we need when working at home. No drawers, no doors. A single surface that lends itself to keeping the most everyday items at hand. Back to the essentials after years of uncertainty.
