FT 2011
FaSTTUBe is a team of young students of different disciplines at the Technical University of Berlin. In a vehicle construction competion of the Society of Automotive Engineering they design and produce racing cars and take part in car racings. The large set of regulations puts high emphasis on security in production and operation.
The design and production of the the car body were one of my main tasks. In regard to this the possibility of a fast installation of the top, the complience of prescribed radius and the reduction of the total weight was important.
The result is a car body defined by the combination of crystalline and organic looking surfaces.
